Help us: to promote freedom from Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

Here's how your gift can help someone in need:

$20 = Dinner on First Night of Shelter stay for a family of 3

$35= 1 Night's Stay in residential (long-term) shelter

$40 = Weekend Emergency Food Assistance for 1 Hanover Family

$50 = Round-trip Transportation to Courthouse for a client seeking a protective order

$60 = 1 night's stay in Emergency Shelter

$80 = Cost to change the locks on a Client's home

$125 = Bus Ticket for safe transportation out of the area

$250 = Potential Grant to client during domestic violence related crisis for financial assistance with electric, water, gas, rent, etc.

IDEAS FOR GIVING

Donate a gift from our Wish List

 Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds with differing needs so we keep a list of current needs. Currently we are in need of gift cards from local markets for food and gift cards for gasoline. Our ability to store items is limited. Please call us if you would like to recieve a list.
 

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

Volunteering your time and skills to help your community can be an exciting and rewarding experience. Training is provided.  No previous knowledge or experience in the work that we do is required. We offer internships on a limited basis.
