Hanover Safe Place is holding a design
contest and inviting kids to showcase their talent, creativity and support for
a great cause. By creating a design incorporating
the Pumpkin Run logo (below) and submitting the entry form found here, kids have
the opportunity to have their work showcased on this year’s Pumpkin Run t-shirt
front. The Pumpkin Run is a 5K run/walk
that benefits Hanover Safe Place, and will be held on October 6, 2012 at the
Ashland Berry Farm.
The design of the t-shirt should incorporate the theme of
“promoting freedom from domestic violence & sexual assault”; and be no
larger than 10 inches by 10 inches. The contest is open to all
between the ages 8 – 18, regardless of the level of expertise. Please
submit your entries via email in PDF or Publisher to stacie.francis@hanoversafeplace.com,
by Monday August 20, 2012. The winner will be notified on Monday August
27, 2012.
Entries will be judged on the following criteria: creativity and inclusion of the theme
“promoting freedom from domestic violence & sexual assault.” The winner will receive the following: 2 free
entries to the race; recognition at the race, and honor of starting the race;
and an iPod shuffle and $50 Target gift card.
